Great potential for gypsum board consumption expansion

Gypsum board is mainly used in the decoration of ceiling in China. In terms of the proportion of product application, the proportion of gypsum board used for ceiling decoration in China is more than 70%, and the proportion used for partition system is less than 30%. The traditional materials such as clay brick are still the main partition materials in China. In contrast, gypsum board is mainly used in the field of building partition wall, accounting for about 80%, and less than 20% in the market of developed countries in Europe and America. Compared with Europe and the United States, the penetration rate of gypsum board in the partition market has a large space to improve.

In China, gypsum board is mainly used in tooling, including commercial real estate and public buildings, accounting for about 75%, while the application of gypsum board in the broader residential area accounts for relatively low proportion, only about 25%. On the other hand, gypsum board is mainly used in residential area in developed countries in Europe and America, accounting for about 80%. The application of gypsum board in the field of housing still has a large expansion space.
